Former DreamaireWorks CEO Jeffrey Katernberg Co-Leads $15.5 Million Series A for AI Video Ad Platform

DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg’s venture fund WndrCo has co-led a $15.5 million Series A investment round for Creatify, an AI-powered video advertising platform. The funding will help scale Creatify’s innovative ad technology that automates video content creation for social media marketing.

Creatify’s AdMax platform uses artificial intelligence to rapidly generate dozens of video advertisements optimized for social platforms. The system analyzes high-performing video campaigns on TikTok, Instagram and other social networks to create effective ad content. This AI-driven approach significantly reduces the time and resources needed for video ad production.

The investment comes as major tech companies increasingly focus on AI-powered advertising solutions. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently discussed plans to automate advertising across Facebook, Instagram and Threads using similar AI technology. However, Katzenberg’s track record in digital ventures has been mixed – his short-form video platform Quibi famously raised $1.75 billion before shutting down just six months after launch.

The Creatify investment represents a strategic bet on AI’s potential to transform digital advertising. The platform’s ability to quickly generate optimized video content could give marketers a competitive edge in the fast-moving social media landscape. As AI continues to advance, automated ad creation tools like Creatify may become essential for brands looking to scale their digital marketing efforts.
